Situated close to Loch Shiel and a 10 minute walk to Glenfinnan Viaduct and the National Trust Visitor Centre, Stage House Bed & Breakfast (formerly Princes House Hotel) is a historic building dating back to 1658. It is located 17 miles from Fort William and is a 5 minute walk from Glenfinnan railway station. The port of Mallaig, with ferries to theHebrides and Isle of Skye is half an hours drive away.
Each room at the Stage House has an en suite bathroom. Some rooms boast views of the surrounding mountains. Your freshly cooked breakfast is served next to the small river that runs right past the window. Facilities alsoa residents cosy lounge with honesty bar and a separate games room including pool table.
The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.
Please note that guests who wish to dine at the on-site 2-AA Rosette restaurant are advised to book a table in advance.
Due to staffing shortages, the restaurant tasting menu is currentlyavailable until further notice. Dinner will be served in our Bistro each evening from 18:00. Last orders for food are 21:00.
Standard Double Room. Located to the side and rear of the hotel, this room features an en suite bathroom and a TV with satellite channels. ;
Small Double Room. Located at the front of the hotel with views of the surrounding hills, this individually styled room features a sleigh bed and a TV with satellite channels. One of the Superior Double Rooms can be connected with an adjoining single room toa a family room for 4 people. This is subject to availabilities. ;
Superior King Room. A special room full of period features including a Jacobean four poster bed and mahogany furniture. This room is to the front of the building with views over the surrounding hills and it features a modern and tasteful en suite bathroom, flat screen TV with satellite channels, Nespresso Coffee machine and bathrobes. ;
Single Room. A spacious single room to the front of the hotel with a bay window, views over the surrounding hills. ;
Standard Twin Room. This twin room has a tea and coffee maker, a wardrobe, flat-screen TV with satellite channels, as well as chocolate for guests. The unit has 2 beds.
